LEARN TO KNIT
Knitting is an awesome craft. Many are under the impression that this well-aged craft is for grandmas, but children and adults alike love to knit. Children by the age of 10 are able to learn basic knitting stitches where they can make scarves and hats.
Our mission is to put this fun task to good use. Some of us will knit baby hats as a community service project donating to our local community health center.
Our middle school students are in knitting as part of their school electives. Some of us are beginners, while others have been knitting with me for the past 5 years and are tackling more advanced projects and even creating their own patterns.
